TORmem F520 optical amplifier cards — C-band EDFA (including red/blue and two-stage) and O-band SOA modules that boost DWDM line power for reach on the F520 transport platform.
An optical amplifier restores line power so a DWDM signal survives the span between nodes without OEO regeneration. The F520 line offers C-band EDFA cards — including red/blue split versions for single-fiber DWDM and two-stage designs for higher gain — and O-band SOA modules. Cards slot into the F520 chassis and can be driven from the platform or run as 1U standalone units.
